Course content
Safety talk and walk through of Academy floor.
Full introduction to Orbitalum power sources (180 SW And QC Plus)
Umbilical set up and connections.
Gas and purging set up. Magnehelic pressure for various size reading and gas purge flow rates.
Weld head connections and set up for welding OW19, 38S, 115s (Tungsten) (Collets)
Programming of welding Programs (All Sizes)
Tig Plant set up for hand tacking of large bore pipe
Welding coupons (1/4”, ½”,3/4”,1”,)
Positional welding on pipe fabrication Jig
Introduction to Logging welds, coupons and weld specifications and Orbital weld Quality evaluation
Isometric Drawings.
Facing Tool Training.
Tungsten sharpening to correct angles.

Assessment and Certification
After completing the course and assessment, you will receive a certificate of participation from our Academy confirming that you have acquired the knowledge of the specified skill sets of the course.
